Featured in Constructing La Biennale (BarabásiLab), Venice 2025

I was honoured to be featured in this data visualisation of the history of the Biennale — included as a four-time exhibitor.

At the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale, BarabásiLab — led by Albert-László Barabási and Paolo Ciuccarelli — presented Constructing La Biennale, a massive 30-metre network installation. The data-art piece acted as a faux façade covering the renovations of the Padiglione Centrale, mapping the history and networks of the event’s participants.

Constructing La Biennale explored the exhibition’s networked structures and historical layers by visualizing the data behind the thousands of architects who have shaped the event. The interactive platform included digital breakdowns of geographic representation, affiliations, themes and curatorial processes.

The project was part of the “Living Lab” initiative of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition, running from 10 May to 23 November 2025. The data installation and the underlying network can be explored visually on the project’s website.
