Dorkbot Budapest

2005lecture

At the Dorkbot Budapest evening held on 10 November 2005 at Dinamo, Adam Somlai-Fischer presented Low-tech sensors and actuators: a suite of sensors and actuators made from electronic children's toys and gadgets hacked for their constituent parts, letting artists and architects quickly and cheaply develop interactive spaces and objects. The project — part instruction manual, part manifesto for low-tech — was a collaboration with Usman Haque, commissioned by FACT.

The other speakers of the evening were Ferenc Sebő, presenting the experimental computer game The War of Sexes, and Ádám Lendvai with the online project Seek yourself!.
