Domus Academy, Milan

A low-tech workshop at Domus Academy, Milan, in March 2007 — one of a series of workshops that grew out of Low Tech Sensors and Actuators, the research project by Usman Haque and Adam Somlai-Fischer commissioned by FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology, Liverpool). Participants learned the project's approach of hacking inexpensive electronic toys and gadgets into sensing and actuating components for interactive architecture, as documented in the freely downloadable handbook.
