Szívesség bank
Közösségi Önsegítő Rendszer

Szolgáltatáscserén alapuló web 2 közösségi portál, mellyel erősítenénk a helyi közösségi gazdaságokat, s belső szükségletek alapján kapcsolatok újraszervezését is elindítanánk. A portál a virtuális téren keresztül, valós helyi közösségek fejlesztése mellett, teret biztosít a speciális érdeklődési csoportok kialakulásának és serkenti azok együttműködését.

Miért készült?

Az „új technológiák” segítségével gazdasági fejlődést generálva, közösségépítés céljából jönne létre, ezáltal lehetőséget nyújt az (1) önmegvalósításra, (2) kölcsönös támogatói tevékenységek kibontakozására, továbbá (3) társadalmi változásokat indít el és (4) a felhasználóknak kollektív jólét-érzést kölcsönözne.

Hogyan működik?

Minél több a felhasználó, a hálózat annál pontosabban működik.

Social Self-help System

This is a web 2 social portal based on service exchange for supporting the local cooperative economies and reorganising connections according to requirements. Apart from the development of real local cooperatives, the portal provides an opportunity for the forming of groups with special interests, encouraging their cooperation in virtual space.

Our aim

The project aims at supporting the establishment of cooperatives by generating economic growth with the help of “new technologies”, thus enabling (1) self-realisation, (2) mutual support activities, as well as (3) putting social changes in action, (4) which would give the users a collective sense of well-being.

How does it work?

The more users we have, the better the network functions. Using collaborative filtering (e.g., ebay, YouTube), and functioning on the basis of supply and demand, the network promotes the connection of like-minded people, and facilitates

big black doodle: two round-bodied figures, one feeding/giving something into the other's mouth (give and get)

the meeting of users who need other users' services. At the same time, the flexible personalisation of our profile enables us to express our personality, create our own network, and get feedback, so that the relationship between group members becomes more and more personal and trusting with time.

Current state

We are conducting an online survey about the requirements and needs of general and special groups concerning their interests and openness. Our future plans include visualising network nodes and preparing a graph.

hi Lidija,

I already sent the response to you... here it is again.

I'm afraid to say our community currency system is not active any longer. The only currency I actually ever administrated myself 'The Lime' was only an event currency originated for WSFII (http://wsfii.org) the World Summit on Free Information Infrastructures in London in October 2005.

I will do the best to answer your questions, but I'm afraid given that I never actually administered a fully fledged currency - the answers [may not be] very useful.

The LETS system I was using used a paper ledger, but we did participate in the development of several software systems during our 'Lets Get Together' in London.

http://[illegible link]/index.php/LETSGetTogether

The LETS administrator I work with (The Greenman) built a Drupal module

http://[illegible].the-organisation.com/

I was also involved in Hugh Barnard's perl-based CCLITE project, which is documented here
http://www.hughbarnard.org/index.cgi?name=cclite.html - and he has a very good documentation manual available as a POD publication here

http://www.lulu.com/content/375156 or as a pdf here
http://www.hughbarnard.org/cclite/Cclite%20Manual.pdf

CCLITE is web technology utilising some aspects of web2.0 - but mostly traditional web administration systems. It has an API though - so all kinds of javascript tricks would be possible - Hugh just didn't implement them. There is also a mobile system integration, very DIY which I helped Hugh with - Sms!

Event Currency (dead) : The Lime

Anyone.

0

Word of mouth, Internet, events.

> () how many private businesses are involved in local trading?

When it was active - maybe 10.

Halted.

> () weaknesses of your LETS organization

It was more about research and development, for a particular event. It might have turned into something more lasting but nobody had the energy or motivation.

> () in your area what services are used mainly?

When it was working food production and consumption! Also t-shirts and book trading.

> () what type of social classes or people have resort your services

During the event (http://wsfii.org), mostly middle class people or itinerant hackers of mixed social backgrounds. The local businesses were of mixed and diverse social backgrounds.

In collaboration with Lets Link UK and Lets Link London.
